For a country that is smaller than China; India is substantially over populated. Streets and sidewalks are so crowded that barely a bicycle let alone a car could drive on the road with people constantly bumping into each other - note that India’s population is up to 1,241,491,960 billion people. India's population growth rate will soon surpass China's population at the rate it is growing well passed 2050.
India's population is turning into a negative situation because of the resources and land space they are occupying. Less attention has been paid to the environment do to the countries rapid industrialization has natural resource depletion, increased consumption and waste. Factories and chemical plants are creating pollution traveling throughout the land and polluting the environment and humans alike. Rivers and lakes have been polluted from waste and human carelessness. Thousands of Hindu's go to these lakes and rivers to wash their cloths, and wash up; for these main reasons it is why thousands of people become ill. Deforestation is another problem that the citizens are having difficulty trying to stop industries from taking down trees to make profits;Trees are being cut down to support farm land and urban cities. Eventually India will have to depend heavily on imports from other nations in order to meet growing demands; this could result in the loss of high conservation value on biodiversity. 
Afghanistan's Economy
Going to Afghanistan knowing it is one of the world’s poorest countries due to continuous war and political instability have left the country in near ruins (at least in some parts). The experience was new in the way the main source of income in the country revolved around agriculture; producing enough for trading, feeding their people, and food products. Their industries consist of small scale production of textiles, shoes, cement, natural gas, coal and copper along with others that contribute.
Afghanistan is full of rich natural resources, numerous mineral and precious stone deposits, and well as natural gas and untouched petroleum stores- given these are resources that war has exploited but still some remained relatively untouched. Observingly Afghanistan’s industrial resources are things like cotton and tobacco with crops more like rice, wheat and nuts. The country’s based of its agriculture and pastoral raw materials that help its economy by exporting commodities like opium, wools and many other manufactured items.
This article in a summary is about how Afghanistan completing a new international airport in Mazar-e Sharif scheduled to be completed in January 2012 that will help their trade and transporting of goods throughout Afghanistan. As stated in the article by Thomas Herzberg the project coordinator “It is the economic center for Afghanistan” Many Afghanistan people hoping that this new airport in the area will help the economy not just locally but nationally.
